About me

Jeanette Rossow from Hadeland, Norway, living half the year even further out in the countryside and half the year in Berlin.

I bring a playful, experimental approach to commercial art, working with crayons, oil pastels and paint on paper.
My visual style is all about geometric compositions and rhythm, creating a large impact with few but strong elements. I love the mix of “polished” clean lines and the somewhat messy look of pastels.
I take commissions and work with clients to produce a visual language that communicates their brand while showcasing their care for the unique human touch!

I´m inspired by common objects that are distorted or abstracted so much one can just barely make out what it is, repetitive or rhyming shapes and patterns, walks in the forest, and surprising colour combinations. My original drawings are often quite small but scanned at a very high resolution, the result is illustrations that feel contemporary and so very, very real.
